Our Story
GSF emerged from the dreams of two passionate black women, Nse Umoh and Ope Okunola, who successfully operated a restaurant in Saskatoon since 2019. Their frequent travels sparked a desire to fill the yearning for familiar food in foreign lands. As their restaurant gained popularity, they realized the potential to expand their reach beyond the immediate target audience. GSF's products, such as Kilishi and 15-minute Jollof Rice, showcase exotic flavors that not only appeal to the African diaspora but also captivate international consumers seeking diverse and unique taste experiences. This global appeal allows GSF to extend its customer base far beyond local markets.
