About Black Business Edmonton
Black Business Alberta Network is a federally incorporated non-profit organization operating as Black Business Edmonton (BBE).
Black Business Edmonton is a digital hub and community platform dedicated to promoting and supporting Black-owned and diverse businesses, entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized enterprises, start-ups, professionals, service providers, creatives, side ventures, and community events in Edmonton and surrounding areas.
We provide entrepreneurs with opportunities to showcase their businesses, increase their visibility, connect with customers and partners, access valuable resources, and participate more fully in the local economy.
Our Mission
Our mission is to empower Black-owned and diverse businesses, entrepreneurs, and professionals by providing the visibility, resources, connections, and opportunities they need to grow and achieve long-term success.
We recognize that Black and diverse entrepreneurs can face systemic barriers when trying to access professional networks, financing, procurement opportunities, business resources, and public recognition. BBE works to help address these barriers by creating an inclusive platform where entrepreneurs can be discovered, celebrated, and connected to meaningful opportunities.
